Dr. Romel Axibal was born and raised in the Phillippines. He is a graduate of the University of the Philippines and the Cleveland Chiropractic College.

Prior to starting his medical and 13 year chiropractic career, Dr. Axibal was an executive for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in Manila . Dr. Axibal is considered to be one of the primary architects who in brought personal transformational programs to the Philippine nation.

Healthy Trends comes from his desire to share and inspire others on their healing journey. After recovering from a nearly fatal auto accident, Dr. Axibal's road to recovery and rehabilitation was one of deep healing and personal transformation.

“During the healing process I was introduced to various alternative healing methods that literally saved my life. I realized I really wanted to share them with others. Healthy Trends has now evolved into an international forum where guests share empowering insights on topics of the mind, body and spirit. It is a place for like-minded people to have something to share, and a place to share it from. It has truly become a spiritual journey.”

In addition to his successful chiropractic practice, Dr. Axibal co-owns an online Wellness Center . He is listed in the annual Who's Who of American Colleges and has two sons.

Having experienced spinal trauma, resulting from a serious car accident, Laura would undergo four spinal surgeries.  Although recommended for further surgery, having almost died during her third surgery and due to immune system issues, she was empowered to heal herself with alternative natural methods.

She has studied a variety of healing practices, including critical thinking, spiritual healing, subtle energy therapy, nutrition and nutritional products.  A graduate of many healing courses, including Meditation, Aura clearing, Clairvoyant Training and Hands on Healing, Laura is a trained Minister in Spiritual Intuitive Communication and Healings.

Laura currently serves on the Wellness Committee for the Unified School District, to further her mission, ”Healthy and Nutritional Foods in all Schools”.  It was during her search for suppliers of healthy and organic foods that Laura met Romel Axibal, host of Healthy Trends Radio Show and founder of the “I am Healthy Global Network”.
